Din Tai Fung @ Sunway Pyramid

Hi! I would like to share our experience at Din Tai Fung @ Sunway Pyramid. Special thanks to my mom for sponsoring this meal. Din Tai Fung is actually a Taiwanese restaurant. They are famous of their Xiao Long Bao (Small steamed bun with meat fillings and soup). I have also heard that their fried rice is a must try. We have ordered two types of Xiao Long Bao, one set is original flavour, another set is the crab flavour. They have some soy sauce and chili oil as condiments The Xiao Long Bao has to be eaten with ginger and vinegar. Here comes with our Xiao Long Bao. Each of the bao is filled with minced meat and some very steamy soup. You have to really be careful of not scalding yourself. To savour them safely, you will have to make a small bite on the skin and allow the soup to flow out onto your spoon. Wait until the soup cools down a little bit before eating it. The crab flavoured Xiao Long Bao has a little twist of crab roe flavour in it. Not

Universal Noodle @ Citta Mall

Hi. Today I would like to share with you our experience at Universal Noodle, Citta Mall. Image from:  https://www.citta.com.my/listings/universal-noodle/ At first I thought they are selling Japanese Ramen. But it is actually KL's style pork noodle. Dry pork noodle with extra egg. (RM 12.90). Their portion of mince meat and slice meat were quite generous. Boiled rice with fish fillet and mince pork. (RM 16.90) I think they are using grouper fillet for this dish. Quite big portion. We also ordered the french fries and luncheon meat (RM 8.00). This is a new item in their menu. Something different. In total we have spent RM 39 for this meal, inclusive of 5% service charge and 6% SST. Verdict: Taste: 4/5 Freshly made with premium ingredients. Price: 4/5 Considered fair with the big portion. Ambiance: 3/5 OK. Service: 4/5 Good service Overall: 3.75/5 Considered good. Can be revisit. Thank you for reading. Ple

Chili's @ Sunway Putra Mall

Hi! Today I would like to share about my experience at Chili's at Sunway Putra Mall. We are actually attracted by the "Kids Eat Free" Ballon. Every kid gets a free meal with a paying adult. It includes a meal and free flow of drinks. The kids menu is actually an activity sheet for kids. Comes with one piece of crayon. All drinks in kids meal are bottomless. Games Colouring activities We have ordered fish and chips for our daughter. We have ordered Triple Dipper (RM 36.95) - Texas cheese poppers, signature drumetts (boneless) with buffalo sauce, and southwestern eggrolls. The signature drumetts with buffalo sauce really stands out with it's tangy and spicy flavour. We also ordered Fatija Trio (Lamb, Beef and Prawn). It came with some dipping (guacamole, cream, cheese, and some veggies) and served with wraps. Their wraps are bottomless too! (RM 59.95) Their proteins are cooked just right. Easy to bite and v

Review: Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe

Hi! Today I would like to share my dining experience in Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe. It was located at SS15 Courtyard, next to SS15 LRT station. The spotlight here is on their Korean style shave ice, Bingsu. However, they do serve hot food here. This is the bimbab I orderd. Somewhere around RM 15+. They call themselves "Best Bingsu in Town". I do agree with them. So far in the shave ice category, their texture and mouthfeel is the best among those I tried. Basically they are using a milk based bingsu, and they add different toppings on top. Their bingsu is very soft, smooth, and literary melts in your mouth.  Injeolmi Red Bean - Injeolmi means rice cake (the two white colour bits on top of this bingsu). The bingsu is covered with roasted soy bean flavour with a hint of red bean paste on top. (RM 24++) Blueberry snow ice - Covered with blueberries, blueberry syrup and chunks of cheesecake, this bingsu is more flavourful compared to the Injeolmi Red

Taobao by lumahgo - KK Suria Inanam & KL MyTown Shopping Center

Hi! It's been quite sometime I didn't write anything here. Well I have visited a number of places and today I would like to talk about my experience of Taobao by lumahgo. I used to be a die hard fans of Taobao. I used to purchase a lot of things from there. It was an exciting shopping experience. With all sort of things you can imagine in that platform. So when Taobao is opening a brick and mortar store in Malaysia, I am really excited to see what it has to be offer. So I have the chance to visit both branches in Malaysia, one at KK Suria Inanam, another one at KL MyTown Shopping Centre. Taobao x lumahgo KK When I entered the shop, there is only two staff working. They turned off the lights to save electricity. But they didn't bother to turn on when I stepped into the shop... They have a few furniture here and there. Some boxes to keep make-up items A floor mop A tatami style wardrobe and bedding set Some cutlery
